Reliable family sources have verified that the parents of the late Punjabi singer, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, widely known as Sidhu Moosewala, are anticipating a new addition to their family. Although an official statement from the late singer's parents is yet to be made, the news of Moosewala's mother, Charan Kaur, expecting a baby has been confirmed by family insiders. Reportedly, Moosewala's mother is 58 years old, while his father is 60.
Tragically, Moosewala, who unsuccessfully contested the Punjab Assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Mansa in 2022, met an untimely demise on May 29 of the same year. He was fatally shot by assailants in his car in Jawaharke village of Mansa district. The late singer, widely admired, especially among the youth, was recognized for his prowess in composing and producing his own music. Regarded as one of the most affluent Punjabi singers, Sidhu Moosewala's untimely passing hasn't halted the release of his songs posthumously, many of which have garnered millions of views, attesting to his enduring popularity.
In May 2022, Sidhu Moosewala fell victim to a group of assailants who shot and fatally wounded him in Mansa, Punjab. Despite immediate efforts to rush him to the hospital, the singer succumbed to his injuries before receiving medical attention. Following Moosewala's tragic murder, his parents have been at the forefront of a movement seeking justice for their son, evident in the prominently displayed flag with the message "Justice for Sidhu Moosewala" in the music video for his final song.
